Fort Worth, TX based Silhouette returns with "Matchbook Manifesto" the follow-up to 2009's self-titled EP. The new album, spawned from two years of writing, touring, and growth as a band, is laden with thought-provoking lyrics, infectious melodies and driving riffs that flow effortlessly from track to track. The energy that has become the staple of the band's live shows is definitely present here from the first four count in "Teething" to the final scream of "Familiar", with the exception of "Absinthism", which serves as a haunting and powerful interlude.
