The National Safety Council’s Texas Employer Safety Program Our Driving Concern offers a FREE Alive at 25 class for YMCA immediate family members, ages 15 - 24.

Program Description:
Alive at 25 is a 4-hour highly interactive course taught by an NSC certified instructor. This course is an excellent complement to driver’s education programs focusing on laws, vehicle, and road handling, since it focuses on behavior, judgment, and decision making behind the wheel.
This training addresses a variety of driving behaviors and attitudes, including
Peer pressure
Distractions
Cell phone use
Driving hazards (alcohol and drugs)
Driving hazards before they occur
The success of Alive at 25 is based on understanding the consequences of making poor judgments or taking unnecessary risks in a vehicle, by helping the young driver to recognize the positive characteristics that can help them make wise driving decisions.
During the course, each participant will have a 32-page full color participant workbook. After completing the training, participants will receive their own certificate of completion.
Important Details:
Please arrive for check-in at 8:45 a.m. Alive @ 25 will be will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m.
Who may attend?
Community members who are 15 to 24 years of age.
Parents are NOT able to attend.
