Event Details
We think everyone should have access to healthy food. By working together to develop policies and programs that support and revitalize local agriculture and food businesses, educate consumers, and reduce waste we can better address food insecurity, improve health, stimulate the local economy, and become better stewards of our natural resources.
Meet and mix with like-minded community members who are interested in local food and support the farmers, ranchers, chefs, restauranteurs and more who make that happen. Council members Ann Salyer-Caldwell, Amy Nelson and Sabrina Vidurri will be on hand to share about the Council and answer questions.
Enjoy a tasty bite or beverage from the Garden Market and Bistro's menu and learn about this locally-owned and operated restaurant and market serving up healthy foods, fresh produce, raw honey, and grab and go meals. Hear from the owner about the business model and plans for making the Garden Market and Bistro a destination.
This is a no-host event.
