Event Details
Experience a fun-filled night for the whole family that will feature live music, children's activities, games for all ages, food from a variety of vendors that will be sure to satisfy any taste bud, and of course, Fireworks! This year's fireworks show will be extra special and is something you definitely want to be in attendance to witness.
This year the cities of DeSoto and Lancaster are again joining forces to celebrate our nation’s independence.
Vendor OpportunitiesCommunity participation is the key to making this event a success. The City of DeSoto would like to invite your organization to be a part of this fun-filled event through active participation or financial support. Opportunities are available for community non-profit organizations for fund raising or to promote your organization. Local businesses can set up a booth to promote your products or services. We will also have an area for commercial vendors to sell their products. Contact our staff at specialevents@desototexas.gov.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No. This is a family-oriented, community event.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking will be available at DeSoto High School. Shuttle services will be available for free prior to and after the event.
What can I bring into the event?
The DeSoto Amphitheater is an outdoor venue. We encourage our guests to bring chairs, cameras, coolers for water (alcohol is not permitted), and lots of good energy!
