Gear Up to End Hunger
Event Details
Join us for the 6th annual Gear Up to End Hunger cycling event. Test your endurance as you ride alongside Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price, an avid cyclist. Like you, Mayor Price believes that no one should go hungry. Join us for Gear Up to End Hunger because every registration fills empty plates.
No matter what your speed, we have a course for you. Online registration is available until 8 a.m. the morning of the bike ride, Saturday, Oct. 6. Onsite registration will also be available.

Betsy's 100K Challenge
Mayor Price challenges you to finish this course within 15 percent of her time. The 100K circles Texas Motor Speedway before heading back to Rockwood Park. Meet the challenge and you’ll receive a high-performance jersey.
30-Mile Ride
Kick things into gear with this 30-mile route. Cyclists will glide out of Rockwood Park and ride north to Alliance before heading back.
10 or 2-Mile Ride
Enjoy a 10-mile ride up to Meacham Field and back or a 2-mile ride through Rockwood Park. Children ages 5 to 12 can ride for $10. Children ages 4 and under can attend for free. We’ll have some fun activities for kids to enjoy.
What You’ll Get
Event T-shirt and drawstring bag
Post-ride muscle treatment and BMI check from UNT Health Science Center
Craft beer from Wild Acre Brewing Company (free of charge)
Coupon for free food from Salsa Limón and Sully's Magic Kitchen
The water stations at each turnaround for the 10-mile, 30-mile and 100K will have nutritious snacks and fresh fruit.
More than 400 cyclists from North Texas and beyond joined us for last year’s ride. We look forward to seeing you there!
