The weather is beautiful and the Fort Worth Foto Fest is here. That means it’s time to get outside! Come join Fort Worth Camera & get some early morning exercise with your camera at Eagle Mountain Lake!
This is a free event on May 4th at 8 am, and we will be meeting at the beginning of Main Park Trail. We’ll be following Main Park Trail into Shoreline Trail and following Main Park Trail back to the start of the trails. In total, the hike will be around 3.5 miles long. We’ll be keeping a moderate pace throughout the hike and plan to stop for a bit by the shore. We will be offering instruction on how to use your camera most efficiently! There will be loads of photo opportunity all around. Birds will be flitting about, squirrels will be scampering, and who knows what else we’ll see? We do know we can’t wait to see you there!
We will discuss the best ways to pack & hike with your photo gear.
Suggestions:
Circular Polarizing Filters/Shutter Releases/Tripod
Wide Angle and Telephoto lenses for wildlife shots
Photo backpack
Water (lots of it)
A snack or two (lunch is not provided)
Appropriate footwear
Bug Spray
Hat
This hike is open to all skills and ages; however, be advised that portions of the trail are slightly demanding at points. We’re absolutely stoked to have you come take a hike with us!
