The Second Annual Dog Walk of the Dead Zombie 5k will be held at 5 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Texas Live!

in support of Mid Cities Animal Rescue, Angels 2 the Rescue and White Rock Dog Rescue. Share a fun afternoon/evening with us at Texas Live! and Richard Green Linear Park where Zombies have taken over and only the brave will survive! ABOUT THE RACE Options to sign up for:
Human Runner - Complete the race with the fastest time while trying to avoid the zombies and dodge the zombie roamers. Human runners will wear a survival belt with 3 flags on it, with the goal of finishing the race with all the flags. Those that finish with at least 1 flag will finish as a Survivor and those that finish without any flags finish as an infected zombie.
Zombie Roamers - Roamer shirt cost $10. These roamers are providing interference and also are trying to grab flags from the humans. Roamers will be limited to a specifically assigned area.
Zombie 1 mile fun run/walk - This is a 1 mile run/walk that you can do with or without your canine companion. This will start 30 minutes after the 5k starts. Feel free to dress up still and dress up your dog too! $20.
Dog Walk with Agility - Same 1 mile course but with 6 stations of agility. Participants get a "doggy goody bag"! $25.
Rescue Dogs - Dogs with 501c3 organizations can walk for $10 and receive the "doggy goody bag".
All runner participants will take home a finisher's medal based on finishing as a Survivor or Infected. Fun awards will also be given to participants with the best Human and best dog zombie costume, The highest fundraising team and more to be determined later. Check back for updates!
There will be a fun after party at Texas Live! in The Backyard, with live music -The Garage Door Boys play at 8 pm, different vendors, silent auction, contests and other fun activities. We will have a dog concierge station where you can park your pet while you enjoy a drink, snack or some shopping. Enjoy food from any of the restaurants that are part of Texas Live! The venue will be open at 4pm for check-in, last minute registrations and packet pickups. Spectators are welcome to hang out in the Backyard or watch
