Description
A beignet beer? When Trey Smith, owner of The Dusty Biscuit, asked us to turn his biscuity, fluffy, chewy, delicious beignets into a beer, we said hell yeah.
Event Details
If you haven’t had a beignet before, think of it like a deep fried dough. That’s a little chewy. Served warm. Topped with powdered sugar. That description did it no justice, as they are magical.
The BEER itself is made up very similar grains that Trey used to create his beignets. We will even throw some beignets into the mash and add a little powdered sugar as well.
In the end, we’ll have a golden beer that has a nice biscuity body. It will have a solid mouthfeel to recreate that whole powder sugary experience you get when biting into a fresh beignet. We’ll top it off with just a touch of vanilla. When it all comes together The Dusty Biscuit beer (7%abv) is the perfect beer to drink alongside a fresh plate of beignets.
The Dusty Biscuit will be a taproom only draft brew, so no cans or crowlers/growlers will be filled. It will be for on-site consumption only.
We'll have about 20-25 draft beers on tap.
Dusty Biscuit Beignets - Pop Up Events & Catering will of course be on site serving up savory and sweet beignets.

Martin House is family friendly.
We offer non-alcoholic options (water, juice, kombucha, la croix, topo, etc) in our taproom.
For parking, there are many spots around the neighborhood. We also have parking next door at 120 S Sylvania AFTER 5pm - the parking lot next door on the other side of the shipping containers by the covered patio. Put that address in your maps app. Entrance is a little driveway about a block away. Don't park by the TX Draft building or their dock (northside).
Do not park at the Community Center, Flying Tire, or All Star Party Service lot and please do not park anywhere you see a tow sign.
