Babe's Chicken Dinner House

In 1902, a fire destroyed all of the wooden, false-front business houses that made up Main Street in Burleson, prompting the new construction of masonry buildings. Our building, opened in 1905 as the Wilson Brothers Company, sold hardware, carriages, buggies, household furnishings and even caskets manufactured on the top floor where there once was a funeral parlor.
