The annual Christmas Parade is a beloved tradition in the City of Roanoke, Texas.

The City of Roanoke would like to invite your group to participate in the 2021 Christmas Parade to be held on Saturday, December 4th, stepping-off at 6:00pm.

This year’s theme –Roanoke’s Hometown Holiday!

One restriction that we do have is, NO LIVE SANTAS please.

Entry Deadline: 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021
Entry Fee- two cases of canned food (2x24 cans), collected upon arrival to the parade, for each group participating. These donations will benefit the Roanoke Food Pantry. If you would prefer to make a monetary donation to the food pantry instead, you may add a donation upon submission of this application.
Parade Participant Rules and Regulations

The Roanoke Christmas Parade is produced for the community of Roanoke to celebrate the Holidays with our families and children. All entries must contain appropriate holiday decorations and themes. Inappropriate displays will not be allowed to include but not limited to attire worn by participants, signage or political messages beyond an organization’s name.

All entries will stage, load at the Roanoke Community Center/Community Pool Area located on 416 S. Walnut Street. Unloading will be at Steel High school 606 N Walnut St, Roanoke, TX 76262 No unloading will be allowed at any other location.

All entries must be in place in the staging area by 5:30 PM.
Entries may not exceed 50 ft. in length, 12 ft. in height and 10 ft. in width (includes extensions).
Fire extinguishers are required on each float.
Alcohol is not permitted in the staging area or on the float.
Entries can be a float, marching group, auto/pick-up, trailers, horses or other approved vehicles.
All vehicles are to be approved by the parade committee before being allowed on the street.
All operators of motorized vehicles must be 18 years or older.
Horses are to be diapered or two individuals must be provided to follow behind the entry for clean-up.
